Welcome to Decomprose

The idea of "decomprose community" is a combination of three themes:

1. Decompose

Decomposing is part of the process of life and rebirth. Here we focus on ways to foster personal and community growth rooted in Saami values and environmentalism.

2. Prose

This is a creative space where we find narratives to describe our worlds and experiences through multimedia exploration.

3. Deconstruct

Sometimes we have to take apart our biases, positive or negative, to become new. This is a place to engage with novel thoughts and ideas.

Decomprose is a community where artists of all ages and stages can uplift and support each other without bounds or borders.

Decomprose is a small business working toward becoming a 501(c)(3) non-profit. There are high costs associated with this, so it'll be a few months. All employees will choose fair wages, Elise has a profit cap, and employees will vote on where the proceeds will be donated each quarter.

Elise created a document showing ways to save money while pursuing a zero-waste lifestyle to inspire others to adapt their own habits as stewards of the planet we call home.

The environmental impact of all book manufacturing, shipping, and business operations (electricity, travel, etcetera) is calculated and carbon offset with Cool Effect.
